CBBC at SSoG

We have had the BBC and other production companies at the club over the years and have lent them our mats to help out with their shows. On Friday they were at Newby Rd filming for a new show called Treasure Champs.

Sienna Bullen, from our Competition Squad, has been chosen to be involved in an exciting new series for CBeebies called Treasure Champs. The show will follow the adventures of two animated characters who explore a different value (or ‘treasure’) each episode e.g. honesty, courage, sharing etc.

Using a combination of vibrant faith stories, songs, and heart-warming real-life examples featuring children, these characters will introduce the value / treasure to the audience in a fun and relatable way.

The short film we are hoping to film with Sienna is about the value ’sacrifice’, and how Sienna is a keen gymnast who may sacrifice time doing other things to improve her gymnastic skills / ability! 

Interesting to see the process that the BBC team went through to get the footage they needed and we all look forward to the show on CBeebies later in the year.
