Stockport School of Gymnastics (SSoG) is seeking to recruit a Women’s Artistic Gymnastics Coach to run our women’s gymnastics programme as Head Coach.
The job will be for 35 hours per week and the salary will depend on the applicant’s qualifications and experience and is expected to be in the region of £25k. Applicants should be of Women’s Level 4 or above.
The appointed person will be responsible for the delivery of performance programme for the competitive section of the club to ensure that gymnasts and coaches are given the opportunity to fulfil their potential.
They will need to be able to manage, develop and motivate the coaching team and to work well within a team of professionals.
They will be responsible for the selection to and development of all gymnasts in the competitive club.
Good IT skills, enthusiasm and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are essential.
The post is offered on a full-time basis and will be based at SSoG’s Newby Road Centre in Stockport.
Travel and work within other clubs and venues may also be required.
The candidate must be flexible as the contracted hours may need to be adjusted from time to time to attend a camp or competition.
The successful candidate should be able to manage coaches and will report directly to the Board.
