Stockport School of Gymnastics runs a Club Squad, where selected girls train from 3 hours per week to 17 hours per week for competitions and grades. 

The current squad is 50 strong with ages ranging from 5 to 18. Membership is by invitation only based on assessments held during the recreational sessions. 

We also accept transfers from other clubs if we have sufficient coaching resource.

The Club  gymnasts concentrate on preparation for the British Development Plan Club Grades and competitions held in the North West Region. 

2011 saw SSoG's first elite gymnasts who are working along the Compulsory Levels pathway.

All gymnasts are members of British Gymnastics and take part in our annual visits to France, local carnivals, school fairs and club fund raising events.
