Christmas Events

2010

December 2010 saw the following annual SSoG events:

Christmas Disco

Christmas Walk

Parent's Have a Go Session

See below for reports and pictures

The Christmas Disco

The Christmas Disco was held at St Michael's Church Hall in Bramhall on the evening of Saturday 10th Dec.

The gymnast,s from all sections of the club, danced, ate and played games, and generally had a good time.

The Christmas Walk

The Christmas walk was held in Bollington on the 28th December

The weather was a bit kinder to us this year with just a hint of mist and not too much mud as the ground was still thawing.

Andy Sefton lead us on a circular route, that went from Bollington as far as Rainow, but avoiding the heights of the White Nancy.

Not a huge turn out, but a pleasant walk with Chilli and Sloe Gin for refreshments when we had finished.

Parents Have a Go Session

The eagerly awaited day arrived and almost all parents turned up determined to show the gymnasts that this sport is not so difficult.

The heating was broken at Dialstone, hence it was a very chilly 4 degrees C.

This was a really good session, with an exchange of presents, eating the left over food from the Christmas party and the Club photo was taken.
